On the 23rd of August, Ava will be turning two; she's getting too big for me. Ava has been saying small, broken words for a while now, but this week, she has been repeating every last word I say and more. She is such a little girl. She loves to dance, and lately she has an interest in her baby dolls. I have also learned this week that washclothes, clean or dirty, can make great blankets for dolls. what do you know, Ava has traits of being a good mom already.
I guess her birthday means were moving on to the next stage, terrible two's and potty training! I'm not sure how potty traing is going to go, but we will survive somehow, just like we've done all along.

I know I'm posting a little late, but what can I say I'm a little new at this.
The month of July has come and gone for us. We have kept ourselves plenty busy with work and the holidays. On the 4th of July, Chris and I took Ava to the Freedom Festival Parade. She had a blast. She loved the horses, dancing, music and clapping with the crowd.
The next day, Chris and I decided to take Ava on a bike ride. We both thought this would be a fun family affair. We started off at the bottom of the Provo canyon and our goal was to reach bridelveil falls. Half way there I didn't know if I was going to make it. Chris had double duty. He was pulling Ava and 2 gals of water. I really thought I was never going to see the falls. But we eventually reached our goal. While there, we let Ava swim in the water. She had so much fun. Out of the three of us, I think she enjoyed this whole experience the most!!! Now every time we go outside and pass our bikes, she yells "bike, bike". I guess this means we are going to have to take her on another bike ride!!!
